Jon,
The only accident i remember having was to the side of our new Volvo 122s
when I turned into a narrow
street without sidewalks in Florence Italy. Scraped
a building. This was in 1966.
Other than the passenger side of the car getting
hung up on a high curb when parking, i havent
had any accidents.
I dont much like driving our present car, a Mercury
Gran Marquis, like Michele's new car (good luck
with it Michele) because it is so big. Plus you
cant really see where the car ends front and back
because of the styling. If i had my druthers (where
ARE my druthers?) I'd drive a sports car more
agile than a Dadsmobile.
This car is rearwheel drive but is less refined
than the Buick 81 LeSabre it replaces. The Buick
was a true land yacht, not designed for driving
on a country road but for sailing along on the
boulevard.
