[AGL] city driving and real driving--other people's gas?

Michael,
  Now that you so thoroughly document it I have given you dozens of rides for every one that you've given me--even when I was without car. Thankless one! 
  You carelessly use words for your own effect, like "totaled." The damage to the Mercedes came to $1,200, lights and grill, having rolled at low speed into a high rear end pickup bumber. It was only totaled in as much as I couldn't afford to spend that much money repairing it. 
  You'll never have to not accept "a lift" from me again. I won't offer one.

Actually now that i think about it, Frances driving
can get you killed. She gave me a lift in the VW
bus she once had. That got totalled. I was driven
around fairly often with her at the wheel of her
BMW 3000 series. Did Barney wreak that car?

Years and years later Frances was driving a geriatric
Ford Galaxie? and it was at that point that i wouldnt
accept a lift anymore. Some years later she got her Mercedes and her driving 
COMPLETELY CHANGED. It was remarkable.

Apparently Frances totalled the Mercedes while
multi-tasking rendering her carless in Gaza. After
a whilst, she Artie Osborned/Belmer Wrighted herself
a new $900 Volvo. The Volvo's suspension needs thousands of dollars of 
repairs to make it roadworthy
but it is perfectly safe to drive around for errands in.

Ach, Hans! Where are our Volvo 122s of yesteryear?
