[AGL] NAACP shameful?

Jon, the answer may be a bit long for the time I have just now, but
I'll give a few. Lack of objectivity—no research, just obstructive. Cry
boohoo about the police regardless of the truth. Consider the so-called
"kid" who was out after 2 am in a stolen car—whose girlfriend called
the police claiming domestic violence (the most dangerous of all calls
for the police). He refuses to get out of the car, or cut off the motor
and then traps police arm in car window and proceeds to drive away,
dragging the cop who then shot him. His mother wails he's a good boy,
always home, etc. NAACP screams "Police Brutality". Sometimes its true,
other times, not. NAACP chooses the former EVERY time. "Hello" the
community needs them to mentor values. Instead,
spend worthless time to get 40 acres and the mule ($). No way to
determine who, how much, how to deliver—just another boohoo.
Lack of constructive effort to set-up programs for youth; single,
"child" mothers; education; self-esteem; values, practical life skills.
Last meetings I witnessed were about the best hat and most fashionable.
No notice of the poor—no affiliations with organizations trying to
remedy problems. Racist, ill-mannered children. No quest for real
history, for instance, Uncle Tom was the hero of the story. Faint, or
scream at the site of Confederate Battle Flag without any idea of the
true nature of The War Between The States. No open ideas about
heritage—not hate. Unable/unwilling to place their thinking in the time
period. (Highly recommend 3 vol set by Shelby Foote—the South's best
and most truthful historian on the subject)
No concern for peoples of other colors, say, red, for instance. Just
snippets mm
