[AGL] Favorite 10 films of all times is awaited with patience

Thank you for considering working on such a list. I have a good friend with NetFlix and want to develop a list of great movies for my personal library. [Dian will be glad to learn that I finally got hold of a DVD player that works with my ancient tv.] We make copies to keep and use whenever.
At your DotD party, Sherryl mentioned some obscure movies to me that she recommended and I lost them from the memory bank before I could write them down. I think Wiley was in one so I can research it through iMDB. I seem to remember that one of them was an animation.
I just had a tooth pulled and I'm feeling puny but the pain it was causing instantly stopped.
Such a relief! I'll just have to eat the softer foods. Bye bye steak.
Best,
Frances

Charlie,
Sounds like you are a candidate for NetFlix, or maybe not considering that you already have unwatched tapes. I think each of us should develop a list of 10 of our favorite movies of all time, with a little blurb about what was so good about each one. The hardest thing for me is to decide which films to rent when I go to Vulcan Video. It takes me longer than a movie to try and find a selection that I haven't already seen, or wanted to see, or simply forgot the title of. I also like to know about "sleepers" or films that were great even if they didn't recieve a lot of publicity. I hope Wayne weighs in on this since he has so much retention in his brain about films. Sometimes I can watch half a movie and suddenly see a scene I remember and it clicks that I've already seen it. The older I get the more likely it gets that I could hide my own Easter eggs even with a daily dose of fish oil
Best,
Frances

Oh, Oh, Movies. The last one I saw was some Indian thing at Alamo Draft
House that came with Indian Food, before that was some stupid thing about
penguinos marching around in the snow. Not much of a movie freak and I never
ever rent the things. I have a collection of movies in boxes that have been
gathering dust for years and years and my computer has over sixty five
movies in memory. Real gems I am sure.
