A piece of software resident in your computer
which copies to a file the letters and numbers which
you u strike on the keyboard.with your fingers.
Subsequently some nefarious agent can look at the
file and see what you typed in. Trivial in terms of
programming.
Any computer not your own might have such a
program. I said recording in the sense that the
program records your keystrokes.
