Nice insights, Packywackie, aka EAE:

I.e. "...to all folk of good will: It's
inherently derisive, and thus
provocative, to continue to use the "Mikey" moniker."

Interestingly ME didn't appear to take issue with that one, which I thought as inflamatory as a previously mis-moniker gauntlet thrown around. Instead ME gave me grief for being disrespectful in expressing my attitude of disgust towards the J's and P's, and the protracted debate the angst engenders--as seemingly endless as the conflict itself. I don't think you have to be "born" either to have opinions about them, and I certainly reserve that right. Disagreements aren't supposed to be taken personally. Hasn't all this crap gone on since Biblical times? What's there to know? That the nation-tribes and their leaders are in a rut dug so deep that they can't find a way out.
Liz Taylor, herself, must have felt the same way towards these feuding tribes. Remember, she made that high profile trip over to Israel to demand that the leaders make nice. She was rebuffed as an impotent bag of hot air and returned from that mission with a drooping tail.
IMHO prose about that war-without-end, soap-opera-style, is as Off-Puting as RB's droning on and on about the anticipated appocalypse coming with the end of oil. That'd be one way to "cool down" the global warming crisis.
  Best,
  Frances

You interested in coming to my dance here at the retirement home, or to go to buy olives?

obviosities. The ancient animosities of the so-called Holy Lands, with all
their currency even among us, are beyond my comprehension; I'm not competent

So, though I'm not necessarily the Pope's favorite Zionist, let me
contribute this to all folk of good will: It's inherently derisive, and thus

My apologies long time if I've boorishly (re my second career) misconstrued
what it is.
Anyways, remember, "You can Win the Argument..and Lose the SALE!"
P.S. I thought this WAS the doppelganger list. Where does this put me?
