Kerry Awn used to have an Austin Access TV show
at 10pm Saturdays. His sidekick was Artley Snuff
(aka John Foxx). Kerry impersonated the sleezy
strip club comedian (thin mustache and with an
attitude). Artley Snuff wore his tacky Goodwill
plaid suit and brandished (brandished?) a golf
club.

This show was seriously unfunny. As i am a friend
of Artley's i was duty bound to watch it until 
Saturday Night Live at 10:30, another seriously
unfunny program

Once on a different planet when my roommate
and i rented Fletcher and Libby's studio apartment
on E 6th street i used to wander down the street 
till i came to the Velveeta Room where their
wittiest employee stood on the sidewalk and
talked passerbys into the comedy bar.

Very funny guy on the sidewalk. Claimed to be
shortlisted for forthcoming employment at 
HEB. Being myself on the go-in-free list
i used to go in and try to enjoy listening to the 
standup comics. now that's maschoism. 
unhappy fat men joking about their bodies or 
making TV references.so i was soon back on 
the sidewalk.

i caught one of Kerry Awn's rare appearances
there and he was way funnier than the others.
