Having children takes one to a place that is unique because each one is 
different. Therefore each relationship is different and carries its own 
baggage. Occasionally, a set of circumstances makes it better to 
distance oneself for a time. It is sheer philosophy for one who is 
childless to make assumptions. Where as reality requires some difficult 
and often misunderstood decisions and then one has to find the guts to 
follow through. It isn't easy.  mm
