[AGL] the legacy of Jim Strong

Michele,

Like i told you f2f, this guy was a real a-hole after
he was subscribed. I met him twice, once at
the Scholz Garten where he got plastered and
once at a yard party soon after. He was a real
pest on the maillist, accusing me of delaying and
even changing his posts. Presumably i was staying
up nights to do this. His worst impulse was to send
me an email once cursing my ancestry and advising
me to sodomize my wife. He must have been drunk
when he wrote it.

So when Connie forwarded the news of his demise
I resisted the impulse NOT to say something for
after all what is a maillist for. I finally settled on
a blank page dedicated to his legacy. de mortuis
nihil nisi bonum like they say. i'd supply the nihil
i thought, let his admirers supply the bonum

(of the dead nothing unless good)

Michael
