Some of you automatically corrected Brett to Rhett Beard (on
the motorized gurney).

Gale Samoraby told me anent this year's Red River Motors 
partay, that she saw George Majewski drop off some gear in 
the afternoon. Presumably George and Carlyne came back later.
Dave M usually comes early. Simmons usually comes late-early.
Jaxon comes early but he has been ailing. Dian and Houston
always come early. Lorelei usually comes late-early but apparently
not this year. Sandy Lockett R.I.P. used to tell me fierce stories
about the heavies at this partay, biker/doper employees of 
the Willie Nelson empire, packing heat.

This year for the first time Lesley attended in his usual bikini
and high heels. This is NOT a good sign.

Artie & Doug's yard mechanic was Dave Schuller, the ex-con.
His head was stuffed with urban legend statistics on the order
of the "real" percentage of blacks in the US being 65% of the
population. He could come up with some absolutely fantastic
stuff which you couldn't even dream up unless you were 
as uneducated as he. I used to come around once in a while
to hang with him while he fixed cars. As did others. A kind
of white trash court conducted en plein air in a junk yard.
That's how I met Rhett.
