[AGL] Help Oppose Roberts for Supreme Court

Dear Friend,

President Bush has nominated John Roberts to succeed William
Rehnquist as Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. 

If Roberts is confirmed as Chief Justice, he would have broad
authority to shape the direction of the Court on key issues
including the right to choose and right to privacy. Based on his
record there is little doubt that he will vote to dismantle Roe
v. Wade. 

We must not allow someone who cannot be counted on to preserve
personal freedoms to be appointed to be the most powerful judge
on the most powerful Court in our country.
