Whenever I get a blood test (one due soon) they squeal "Oh your hemoglobin is low!" So I
eat some vitamin pills. I look at the meat-eaters around me, particularly the heavy ones
(Australians, ugh) and they mostly seem to be bundles of nerves. Restless energy spurts.

Asians traditionally only ate tiny bits of flesh mixed in with their rice or morning
congee or whatever, not huge slabs of meat.

Then I light up a cigar and somebody squeaks "But Byron! I thought you were a vegetarian!"

And I give a hard look at the stogy and say "Shit! They ain't puttin' meat in these now
are they?"
