Spurred on by Connie's suggestion to use the Adobe Reader,
I figured out another way to view it. The attachment is
misidentified by Window email readers as having a DOS
type file name with a .dat extension. 

Actually the file name has no extension. If you save it and THEN 
rename it by adding the extension .jpg, your PC, if asked to, 
will then be able to show the image (as attached).
