The photographs of the litter, and the homes of the families who live "...on the rim" are most beautiful and moving. The exhibit is breathtakingly visually while evocative of smells that can scarcely be imagined. The camera in Keasler's deft hand captures the steel willed dignity in the faces of the children in their neat and clean homes. The stark contrast of people who take such pride in their personal retreats compared to the unremittingly chaotic landscape is almost incomprehensible. I have seen rooms of Americans that resemble the dump more than the rooms of the people who live in one. It must be seen, to be believed.
