Wayne,

I said I BELIEVE Kate is dead. I dont know this for a fact
although all things considered it is very likely considering
her health when I last saw her about 5 or more years ago.
She also said then that she had changed her mind about 
suicide.

As for her envy of other people's sex life, I never heard 
her speak of that. She did speak quite openly of her own 
extensive experiences with both sexes. She even made
it a point not to have her son Bobby circumsized because
she said she much preferred the uncircumsized experience.
As for her psychotic break while consorting with a Maoist
lesbian group in Canada where she lived for awhile, 
unfortunately I never got the hole story (so to speak). 
A pity that as it sounds like it was an interesting footnote 
to the cultural history of the sixties, like Jeff lecturing to 
college students about the details of the SDS experience.
