I'm assembling a new computer, nothing in hand yet
except the midtower Enermax case. Havent figured out
what motherboard yet, the processor will be an AMD
XP-M 2400+ ($77), plus 512 stick of RAM, Joe Ben=20
Clark (related to one of our subscribers) recommends=20
Flight Sim 2004 with a Microsoft built joystick, the
video card (an 8x or 4x AGP) is pricey but you can
score peripherals on Ebay fairly easy as folks upgrade
to the latest and greatest.

The XP-M processors are actually for laptops although
they do fit ATX boards and their multiplier rate is not=20
locked like most XPs. They run cool and are rated at
45watts only and are easily overclocked but that runs
the temperature way way up and you need tricky
cooling.

I don't see why I can't drag this process out for many
many months.
