Remembering back in '65 when Byron showed up in Austin with a Matchless 
G50 that had won the Venisualan National race's  and a Honda 125 factory 
racer. University Motorcycle rentals borrowed Jack O'Learys trailer and 
Ed Guin, Travis Rivers, Freda Miller and I hauled them to a big race in 
Galveston where i had rented a house by the beach for a weekend party 
which many on this list attended. That was the trip that Jim Franklin 
found there were people in Austin just like him, before Don Talor chased 
them all off as unwanted intruders!!!
