by now you've read of the Republican (=Rove's)
plan to marginalize Dean as angry & pessimistic
offering Bush as a healing, non-divisive
mainstream figure.

will this work for them? i don't see why not.

and if it doesn't they can point out how short
Dean is, shorter than Dukakis in the 1988 election. 
Dukakis took a ride on an Abrams Tank wearing a 
helmet and did not cut a great figure in so doing. 
i'm sure that Dr Dean will not permit himself to
be dressed in military gear and photographed. 

both Dean and Bush were draft dodgers during Viet Nam
