It's a steep price to pay, but failure to beat George Bush with a candidate like Howard Dean is a price we shouldn't be willing to pay! You'll be listed as a host if you GIVE or RAISE $1,000.  So get 8 friends to come at $125 each  or 4 at $125 and 2 at $250.    Let us know if you're working on a Host commitment at:  info@DeanForTexas.com

Attend the Sleepless Summer Tour in San Antonio, Texas!
Howard Dean is having huge rallies over a four-day marathon across the country.  San Antonio is on the tour!  Join thousands of Dean supporters at a free rally on Monday, August 25th at La Villita Assembly Hall, 418 La Villita in downtown San Antonio.   Rally begins at 7:30 pm.  Free, but bring a checkbook or credit card to make a small voluntary donation!
TRAVEL WITH DEAN TO SAN ANTONIO:
Gov. Dean will be leaving the Austin event at 7 pm and hopping on a bus of supporters from the event  and driving to the rally which will be in progress.  When he arrives, he'll go straight to the stage to give his speech.  If you wish to go from the event in Austin to San Antonio on the bus with Dean, it's a $10 ticket round trip (payable on the bus, but you must RSVP asap to: info@DeanForTexas.com  First come, first served).

BUS TRIP TO SAN ANTONIO RALLY  
If you just wish to go directly to the San Antonio Rally and wish to join supporters on a bus ride there and back, the buses will leave Glen Maxey's office parking lot at 512 E Riverside Dr. at 6 pm sharp.  ($10 ticket roundtrip, payable ON the bus).  This will get you to San Antonio with no parking hassles, before the start of the 7:30 event.   The bus will return, leaving San Antonio 30 minutes after the event ends.  You can expect to be back in Austin by aboutr 10:30 pm.  RSVP the names of you and your guests to:  info@DeanForTexas.com   RSVP by August 22nd.

BUSHWHACK HOUSE PARTY   FRIDAY, AUGUST 22
We're shooting for 150 parties across Texas.   Sign up your party by emailing us at info@deanfortexas.com.   All you need is a place, some guests, some refreshments, and a speaker phone for Gov. Dean to talk to your guests at 8 pm.     We'll send you a packet of all the stuff you need: donor forms, sign-in sheets, stickers, signs,   a videotape to show, and other goodies!  

Donors to a House Party event in an amount of $125 or more get to come to the Monday event FREE.   Hosts who raise more than $1000 at their House Party will be our complimentary guests at the event on Monday with Dean.

Meetups:
Wednesday,  August 6 at 7 pm  in Austin at Scholz's, 1609 San Jacinto.    Other venues might also occur.  We're going to be doing campaign organizing at Scholz's.  (We promise to have a microphone this time!)
