We don't have CNN (just the basic cable stations) so I
don't know about them or Larry King. I didnt see ANY reference
to the missing WMD in the NYTimes today, nor in the CBS, ABC and NBC
evening news broadcasts last night nor in Jim Lehrer's
News program.

I looked in the new Google news search engine for the
"missing weapons of mass destruction". The first page
of the search engine returns refers to only 2 American
newspaper articles (in the Buffalo News and the Chicago
Daily Herald). I read these articles and there were the
barest mention of the missing WMD as an issue.

I hope I am wrong about this but it looks like the top,
major reason for regime change in Iraq, namely the danger
that Saddam would supply al-Quaeda with WMD was a lie
now swept under the rug (at least in this country) and
that the Bush administration is totally getting away with
it. Unfortunately foreigners will not get to vote against
this mountebank in 2004.

When I edited the Google search query to "weapons of mass
destruction" the first page returned had a single
reference to an American newspaper (San Francisco
Chronicle) which did not focus on the fact that the
WMD are missing. The rest of the articles were in foreign
newspapers. And in THOSE articles the main focus was on
the fact that the WMD are missing. This is so obvious THE
issue but it is being ignored in Amerika.

Can you give us some references to the articles in
American newssources where you have been reading about
the issue of the missing WMD and its implications
for Bush's credibility?

Michael
