I managed to scan the newspaper photo image, and hope that I have =
attached a proper size jpeg, and it travels well cyberwise. Someone =
correct me please, if I goofed. =20
This photo along with the Cole photos that Billy Jim posted earlier =
has piqued my interest in this LA Times photographer. Carolyn Cole is =
evidently there in the middle of things getting these shots.
Some photos by other photographers that have been distributed on the =
internet, have been questioned as to their authenticity. So we should =
be careful in making assumptions from photos. In the case of this =
photo, one could question, I guess, the caption. Was it really a Marine =
that killed the men of this family? No story accompanied this photo, =
only a caption. I didn't hear anything about this incident occuring in =
Baghdad from any other media source. =20
Powerful image, nonetheless, and one can imagine the fire of hatred =
igniting in this extremely unfortunate family.
