Hope this finds you with a full tank and an open road.
Sometimes I miss the virtual free-for-all of the ghetto 
page. Are you still at it? If so, you might want to 
post this for the curious. And you can sign me up for 
awhile to answer any questions related to this
post.
 
My good friend Bill Deane (1-26-43) died yesterday from 
cancer. Bill had known of his predicament for a few 
years. He went to Peru to a jungle clinic run by an 
ayahuaska curandero for a cure a couple of years ago. 
He thought it worked. About a year ago he separated 
from his wife of 10 years, maintaining residence in 
the house he had built here in Gila. Bill was a 
professional rolfer who worked one week each month 
in Southern California, very health conscious, in 
fine physical condition, proper diet, outdoorsman, 
etc. But he was also an alcoholic in his past life 
(before coming to Gila).
 
In December the cancer broke through the surface 
of his skin. He had had no pain and was quite shocked. 
He had just started an affair with a woman from 
Santa Barbara who had sold her house and moved here 
to be with him. By January he had wound up his 
practice in California and settled in for his 
final days. The doctor gave him 60 days max. He 
elected to starve. For the past 6 weeks he 
ingested nothing but occasional water along 
with prescription heroin and morphine. His new 
girl friend and Loretta, local spiritualist and 
good friend, alternated staying with him, didn't 
want to see anyone else, insisted on complete 
quiet.
 
The moral of this story? I don't know, but I 
would not recommend traveling to the Peruvian 
jungle for a quick fix if you are diagnosed with 
cancer.
 
A metaphysical note: Bill had the Moon square 
Mars in his natal chart. I have noted this 
aspect in the charts of 5 other aquaintances 
who have contracted cancer. The others were 
all women and each of them had breast cancer 
which was controlled after surgery using 
conventional medicine. If you have this aspect 
in your chart, please be informed of its 
potentially lethal implications.
