Folks, in the spirit of the original Ghetto, I think it's time to
put our self-importance on the shelf. We've all done what we've done
and not done what we've not done, so let's give it a rest. And if
that can't be done, the Cream Pie Patrol will be around to see you.
Never forget Einstein's last words: "Lighten up."
Let Desenex continue to lurk and pounce. Hell, would you rather have
a full-blown Warthog rampaging through the ether?
And for those of you who've had a rough year, physically, Tary, Jack
Rife, Wayne, and those of you I don't know about, may 2003 turn
things around for you. I myself had a mild stroke a couple of weeks
after the reunion. (No, no connection.) Doing well now, although I
still have a problem with double vision and WMS (Walter Matthau
Syndrome or grumpy old man.)
Lighten up and you might be able to hear the faint notes of that old
claw-hammer banjo . . . "On the road to Mingus . . ."
Happy New Year, y'all,
Harry
