in other words, Ford is truly full of it and does not plan to post his
favorite
3 or 4 paragraphs from his published work because then we would all 
indubitably know forever more what a lackwit and gasbag he is

after flunking out of the U of Michigan PhD English program he wound up 
teaching English composition at a junior college in the 'hood for many 
years but having been born into a family with some money he was able to 
invest successfully in real estate and hasnt yet lost all of it in the
stock market

interesting that his father lives next door to me in an identical condo 
apartment

so dont hold your breath, he wont be posting any of his writing to
the list. i will make a small effort to procure one of the anthologies
he has edited and re-edited and re-edited. if i find anything amusing
I shall post it to the list
