Two catastrophes

It was NOT Teresa Brewer...it WAS Patti Page who sang about that fucking dog
in the window.
I once threw a rock at Patti's 1958 pink Oldsmobile station wagon as it went
past me in Tulsa's Utica Square. On the side of the car...in pretty script
written on a bar of musical staff were the words...."Here goes the Patti
Wagon"...I kid you not. Is it any wonder I hurled a stone at her? Not to
mention that vomitous song. Yip yip. I, a Big Joe Turner and Ray Charles
fan, could not tolerate one more note.
Teresa Brewer was guilty of many sins, but the dog song was not one of them.
