"Fortune" mag selected FFN as "Best Business Book" for its catagories of "Best and Worst for 2001" in the December 24th issue. "Fast Food Nation had just come out during the time I was writing "The Skinny" and I didn't get a chance to read it before I finished the book. But I did hear the author interviewed for over an hour on NPR when it was released and I used some of the things that he said on the air as if I had found them in the book.
