I'm so glad you had this experience Ms Connie, although you
didn't deserve it. My parents were steadfast members of the
Church of Christ. I suffered it for seventeen years. You also
noted the reason I split. All the folks I liked were enroute
to hell and I didn't want to be left out.

PTL
In our annual visit to Randy's folks in NE Texas, we
obliged their wish for us to attend worship services
with them at their small town Church of Christ.

It was a genuine, bible-thumping sermon. The preacher
sent us to Paul (the Prick) letters to the Corinthians
where the Reverend pointed out the simple fact that
women marrying women, men marrying men is wrong. And
that furthermore, men and women living together
outside of marriage is wrong too. They're all going
to hell and don't fall for this new attitude of
tolerance, he said. It is just plain wrong.

Sitting there, I realized that in the 3rd row from the
back, Randy, me and his Sister are going to hell.

Whew! Maybe that will get us out of having to go to
church in next year's visit to the family.
