[Austin-ghetto-list] Sticking with my lowbrow art

Alright.  I'm beginning to get the message.  Several of my WTC posts have
rubbed various people wrong, so I'll stop saying ANYTHING about organized
religions that have been a curse to mankind ever since God dribbled the
plant earth out of the Void and flung us mortals upon it.  All of them, past
and present.  My only  excuse is that I'm new to the List and don't yet know
the "proper way" I'm expected to express my thoughts to the gang.  I did not
want to get on the ghetto list only to: alienate old & dear friends; make
them think that maybe Ventura was right about me being a racist & that
Black's Chron acted correctly in throttling me; cause them to lose any
respect & admiration they (you) might still have left for me; and agitate
nostrils & tummies all over the place.

Fine.  Don't expect to see any more "jaxon41" posts on religion, war, peace,
ethnic/racial problems, etc.  But can I still please ask you guys important
stuff once in awhile, like what kind of kitty litter is most biodegradeable
these days?  I really need to know, as I use lots of it to soak up oil leaks
coming from under my old, funky Toyota on the concrete driveway slab out in
front of my house.

Actually, I'm gonna take the advice offered as to how I should stick to my
"art" instead to trying to take part in an adult discussion group with you
guys.  That's good advice, because I've already figured out that I've been
wasting too much precious creative time sitting in front of this combo
voiceless phone & next-step-up boob tube.  Yeah, and I'll find somewhere
else to lick my wounds besides in front of the Group too.

Just in case there's a few of you interested in my reminiscences about
Austin's artistic scene from the Ranger era till today, I'll continue to
post my 3 remaining rant installments.  Then I'll shut up , bid you Hasta
Lumbago, and get back to doing some productive werk.  For those of you not
interested, there's always that delete button.  If you think my posts might
bore or upset you, hit it automatically when you see "jaxon41" come up.
You've got the Power, baby--BAP, BAP, BAP!!  How's this as a Motto for our
Delete Button Age?  Instead of "Use it or Lose It," "Use it AND Lose It."

Before I go, I must say that I remember a time when, if a wound (physical or
psychological) was inflicted on one ghettoite, all of us felt the pain.  I
can also remember a time when things like art and free speech were of vital
importance to us--or did I just wishfully imagine it?  Love, jaxon
