Jim,

Our nifty new maillist redflagged your recent posting for my
poisonal approval. This is done by software. They directed
me to look at it for my approval, disapproval, or differ. I
dont remember what box I checked except I know it wasnt the
approval box.

Their automatically generated explanation of the problem was
the following message:

 Blind carbon copies or other implicit destinations are not allowed. 
Try
 reposting your message by explicitly including the list address in the
To: or
 Cc: fields.

you were forwarding a picture. It seems like you were also 
cc:ing other addresses in addition to addressing the post to a-g-l.

What blind carbon copies are I have no idear.

Their software doesnt and I anteriorly didnt think it is a good 
thing to cc: to others when posting to a mail list. this is 
especially the case now that NO-ONE can post to the list 
without being subscribed. so if you send the same piece of 
mail to us and to non-subscribers, some of the non-subscriber
recipients might want to say something and they will click on 
Reply: All. then they will get error messages when a-g-l 
bounces their mail. they may not even have realized that 
a-g-l was the addressee. and on and on with other possible
confusion scenarios.

so when you post to a mail list (any mail list, not just 
ours) please DONT add other addresses in the cc: box. 

picture attachments, gifs or jpegs, are of course A-OK.
