Sorry my rant, part 6, got posted in the fashion it did.  I was only
half-way through but had to give the machine to Sam.  I hit "Send Later,"
thinking machine would transfer the file to Drafts (as it usually does,
i.e., store it), but for some reason the Beast actually did Send Later.
Anyway, I'll try to finish the installment tonite & send again; delete what
you've got as my part 6.

As now planned, the outrage that Ventura's review generated will have to
come in 2 parts--because of the magnitude of it and my usual
everything-but-the-kitchen-sink "context" yakks.  "Yakkity Yak, Don't Talk
Back."  Well, I'm TALKING BACK to the Chron because my gripe extends well
beyond one, isolated crappy review to the fundamental question of whether we
have the right to defend ourselves from flagrant abuse by the press--esp.
important in this case because the rag was one that supposedly is
"alternative" & devoted to the free expression of ideas.  Don't get me
wrong: I don't want to censor/eliminate V's review from cyberspace.  I just
want to post My Side out there with it--EQUITY, By God.  It was denied me by
my so-called friends at the Chron and is being denied me now, as the
situation now stands on the Net.  I won't put up with it any longer; thus my
rants, which I'll somehow cut-and-paste to a website when finished.  Please
bear with me, because I feel there's a matter of principle involved here
that's grater than pissant ego gratification for myself alone.
