hoping to avoid making everyone miserable, some of the positive side effects:

people are more likely to talk to strangers and open up to friends
people are more likely to be courteous
people are more courageous
more sex, at least so i am told by younger ones (and i even feel a few 
twitches).
more love of others and of life, and life is generally intensified
the firefighter about whom i wrote the poem, got the nyfd emblem tattooed on 
his ankle.
the downer is hightened security since we are again warned of new attacks and 
we have recorded our first case of inhalation anthrax.
