Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs), same stuff as GE dumped in
the Hudson for decades -- and now may have to dredge up and
dispose of. Used in voltage transformers. Very toxic.

Polyvinylchloride - (PVC) - is the stuff plastic plumbing
pipes and plastic electric conduits are made off. Not so
toxic. When you saw off a piece, you can smell the chemistry
outgassing, I always try to hold my face away so as not to
smell it.
