I glanced at the text of your post which was visible
on the maillist housekeeping page.

Please, I explicitly said AT THE BEGINNING of the operation 
that attacking Afghanistan seemed very unlike to be successful 
seeing as the badguys were hidden away in the badest of badlands. 

That said, I could only hope that MANY MANY Arab mujahadeen
would be captured or killed. I still hope this. Perhaps
the military will pull off some magic trick at some point
although it semms increasingly unlikely.

Would you not prefer that the Arab perps get rounded up
and jailed for life? If it were possible?
