Things to read when life gets too boring...and this is one

One of the things, actually several things I have often said, or maybe
frequently said about Bob, perhaps intimated would be more precise or even
hinted at strongly, in my particularly elliptical fashion which depends a
lot upon the prior knowledge and special language of the audience, if it is
in tune with the goings on, as it were and not detached or sitting in some
pre-political, polarizing, nee even hermeneutical repose and thereby
unavailable for nuance, paradigm and metaphor, if not paradox and, silly me,
fable, is that he and I have always agreed or if not actually agreed, at
least sworn temporary allegience to the inescapable twists and turns of
American language and that it will always be better, or at least preferable,
to eschew obfuscation.

That should clarify things.

Right, Jon?

Of course...as the saying goes...this is MUCH easier said than done.

And unless we are ready to start a string that stretches into next year,
well, don't get me started.

But now that we have that problem out of the way...
