your knowledge is awesome. 
guess i feel grass roots movements are better spurred by abbie hoffmans than 
punishing school marms (no i am not calling you this--it is merely 
descriptive). many people share our views. they are afraid to speak out. 
paranoia will not give them courage. we must create an environment in which 
we embrace freedom and celebrate it.
i never cease to be amazed by the fdny. every time i talk to "my guys" around 
the corner, i am awed by their strength. they are streetwise and strong  and 
funny. they are wise in the face of danger. if we could all learn from them.

if we stop living and embracing our lives, each in our unique way, they have 
already won. 

i do not ask you to react as i do. i like and admire who you are. you just 
happened to be the opening for me to express a trend i see. and your sense of 
humor is delightful. i still think nader is a spoiler. gore would not have 
been this evil.
