This is confusing.  US, of course, used nukes on Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
Both sites were purposively NOT fire-bombed (as in Tokyo the night before
Hiroshima, wherein some 90K people died) so as to maintain them as "virgin"
test sites. (Am I repeating myself, yet again???)

Does that mean that the US HAS used nuclear weapons in
the strict sense of the word?
