i'm in the odd position of being a born again patriot, not of bush's ill won
america, but of the wounded city in which i live, the wounded lives i see
daily and the country that has responded to that.
i believe in defending my city and my country, but I do not accept lthe
collateral damage as acceptable, nor is revenge.
i find no problem w/scott conn being an observer. he does not intrude or
opine, and his interest is in doing a good documentary, which is legit.
i am a bit aghast that this issue has stirred up such a war. there is a much
bigger one that i am committed to and think my time is better spent
volunteering than wasted on this guy. i have no objection to new blood, only
more hot air. it is annoying enuf when it comes from my friends, but i
basically know and respect them, agree or not. but not for some guy who
wanders in off the street. nyc is filled w/ranters. i do not want them in my
home. nor do i want martha stewart for that matter. laird as previously
explained, i remain neutral on.
sc
for those really wishing to observe "creative" endeavors of our group, vh1
used a bunch of my photos in their 80's documentary, most of which will be on
tonight in the indie rock section, at least i assume from the choices. a few
tomorrow as well.
