Ok, so maybe we are about ready to re-list Don. For
goodness sake he still wants to be on this list.
Crazy.

Don't know, but will state official results on Sunday
night. That is, if I can get my computer back on.
Homebase is shut down while floors are refinished.
Moving back in tomorrow and Sunday, so when I leave
the office today, I will be out of communication till
Sunday. BTW, sorry Jeff, I posted over my limit today.

I'm pretty sure conditions #1 and #2 are going to be
ok. As for #3 condition, if Mike is agreeable, maybe
we should appoint an official 'bouncer' to work with
the listmeister. Wayne could you do it? That would
take the pressure off of Mike.

And Wayne (or any other volunteer), if you have time,
compose a nice, friendly 'warning' note that says what
we all been saying? Then we can work on some way to
give folks fair warning that they are pushing our
mailbox storage a little too far, or something. Also
maybe a suggestion to include the 'blue click-on
thingie.'

As for adding new subscribers and all. I have no real
suggestions for that issue. We've been through this
squabble about 'relative strangers' several times in
the past two years. Once they are on and become a big
pain-in-the-neck to our regulars, we need to have some
nice procedure for letting them know, or turning them
loose.

Roger, Carolyn and those speaking for wide open forum,
a friendly reminder that we are from a 'paranoid'
origin. After all, the so called FBI list of
ghettoites seemed to have involved an infiltrator. So,
it might be more than just a delete button issue for
some of us. I do prefer a little 60s Austin, loose
ghetto association 'pedigree' if you don't mind.

I've been on this list since it's inception, and felt
that I had a right to assert some kind of order. Hope
I'm not coming off too pushy with these suggestions.
In all, I would say that despite the admitted biased
accusations against Mike (who has been too quiet
today) about his heavy handiness as a listmeister,
this discussion group has remained open, but not free
of acrimony. So what, we know each other. For the
most part, we've allowed most anybody who really
wanted in, to join us.

Headed to the house,
Comrade Connie
