I make a motion

Ok, our discussion on Laird, free speech, listing and
delisting as just about played out, so

I move that our listmeister, Mike E. re-list DL (if he
is still interested) with the following conditions:

1) DL provide more information about who the heck he
is.  I know MJ has very good friends, and Francis,
well, she knows good folks in lots of social circles
in Austin, but I just would like to know such things
as who he knew in the 60s, maybe where around Austin
he lived, and was he a student, anti-war, civil
rightist, Rangeroo, musician, artist, philosopher? OK?

2) That we have no defections of our known friends
including Simmons, Wayne, Jaxon, Karen, Steph, Connie
or Mike with the re-listing of DL.  

3) that we compose a standard 'warning' note that Mike
(or anyone) can submit to presumed offenders that
reflects our dislike for extremist, unsupported
babble. Not that someone can not make a case, but that
should be a requirement.  No reactionary shooting the
mouth off regarding unrelated issues.  Jon summarized
something like this in an earlier post in defense of
Laird, and I am open to suggestions for modifications
to this part of my motion.

PS. To Ted and Dave McQ, Jon and others.  Wali Stopher
is a very good friend of mine. I speak with him, and
see him fairly often even though we live in different
cities. (His son, daughter-in-law and grandson live
here in Houston, less than 2 miles from me.)

Wali has no such feeling of being unwelcome to
participate in the a-g-l forum.  Never said anything
of the sort to me, like being disgruntled with Mike,
or anyone at all.  Can this misinformation be stopped
now.

Since this is Friday, I sure would like to see a
little of our characteristic ghetto humor finish off
the week.
