About MT-List

The EAMT has a mailing list dedicated to MT. This list is open to the public and serves as a forum for the discussion and exchange of information for all aspects of translation technology. Commercial organizations are kindly requested not to post product announcements, etc., in their entirety; a brief one or two line summary with an an URL pointing towards the full text is much preferable. Please post messages in plain text format (no HTML), without attachments. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, go to one of the two archives: MT-List archive (This archive goes back further in time and is more complete, but there can be a delay of several days before new messages appear.) MT-List archive (This archive is generated by the mailing list software. New messages appear instantanously, but the archive is not as complete.)

Using MT-List

To post a message to all the list members, send email to mt-list@eamt.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.

Subscribing to MT-List

Subscribe to MT-List by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   You must enter a privacy password. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
