About AR-HAMS

AR-HAMS is for the discussion of many subjects as they concern amateur (ham) radio operators in and around (as well as those interested in) the state of Arkansas. This is an open forum, use your best judgement at all times. Flame throwing (aka: personal attacks, insults, etc) of any kind will not be tolerated and will get the violator booted from the group faster than anything else. It is strongly recommended that messages to the list be in plain text Only. Please refrain from sending html versions in-addition to plain text, as this practice makes each message several times larger than need-be. Many list members use e-mail services that have limits on the size that each message can be, if html is sent along with plain text, then a message can reach said size limit much faster than using plain text alone. If this size limit is reached, then that user does not see that message. Many e-mail programs have a feature that will turn off the sending of html versions of messages in-addition to plain text. Please be considerate to all members, and disable html. If you have trouble turning it off, I will try to help. Subscribing to AR-HAMS

Subscribe to AR-HAMS by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   You must enter a privacy password. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
